Weekly vibes

It’s been a while but here we go again with this week’s tunes, this week we have a lot of alternative r&b jams to enjoy and listen to. star-emoji

Solange – When I get home

“Nothing without intention, Do nothing without intention!”

Solange’s new album ‘When I get home’ is another creative masterpiece, straying away from the conventional song structures, the album is presented as a body of music, not only a collection of songs. The visuals she provides with album are on par with the audio ,which again proudly celebrates the richness of the black american identity, giving us listeners true alternative r&b vibes all day.

Little Simz – Venom

They would never wanna admit I’m the best here

From the mere fact that I’ve got ovaries

It’s a woman’s world, so to speak

Venom is a fire tune off of Liitle Simz’ new album GREY Area, her flow is mindbending and effortless and her message is cold, she has a raw quality of spittin’ truth and has grown to be one of top UK female rappers,  right on time for international woman’s day.

Phony Ppl – Way to far

‘Way to far’ is a smooth tune for the those late night jam sessions, it has been on repeat for some time, Phony Ppl came back with a force with this song

KOS (Determination) – Black Star Vinia Mojica

This old school hip hop song is for those reflective chill day jams, the introspective lyrics KOS (Knowledge of self) keeps me positive and calm.

Spaceships + Rockets – Bas ft LIONBABE

This remix of LIONBABE’s ‘Rockets’ is more upbeat than the original with Bas’ rap but still counts as a mellow tune that I have been listening too regularly

Speechless -Buddy

Ooo the cat my tongue…got me sprung

‘Speechless’ is one of Buddy’s more soulful songs with an old school romantic feel that transports you a couple of decades back, this song is a smooth jam which I have been vibin’ to a lot.

Boca Raton – Bas

The song is a mood, with Brazil vibes all over the beat. Bas always impresses listeners with his musical creativity and visuals.
